Cactus Crunch bar a guy in my Korean class gave us-- it tastes really good! kinda like strawberry (also cameo of my Korean textbook)
Went to a restaurant called BaB, serves usual Korean meals, and lots of side dishes. I got the Bulgogi (marinated beef)
one of the side dishes was these tiny tiny dried fish...tasted kinda chewy (supposed to be more crispy haha) Can you tell they are tiny fish?? See the eyes? :P :P
Chicken Curry at Donburi japaense restaruant
Then we went to YG Entertainment building in Hapjeong!! YG is the agency that is responsible for my favorite Korean music groups, including BigBang, 2ne1, Lee Hi, and Epik High. They're also the agency that Psy (of Gangnam Style fame) is a part of.
First view of the YG building....kinda hidden away in a back part of the area haha
Its just sitting there in the middle of nowhere
boring pic of the side of the building, and the entrance. No one's really allowed inside, sadly.
yep
Borrowed this pic from Jasmine (middle), with Joanna too :)
Sadly the building is mostly like, offices and stuff cos it's the headquarters, so there wasn't much chance of us seeing anyone famous :( All the recording studios and dorms and stuff are secret, so we have no idea where to go haha :) My best bet to see someone is probably at the airport as they leave or arrive from going somewhere.... We did see some people unloading like, studio lights or something, as well as the black-out vans they use to transport the singers, buuuut that's it. :/ Oh well! It's good enough that I was at the same place that my favorite celebrities have been! By the way, CL, one of the girls from 2ne1 just came out with a new single, and it's REALLY good, like it's one of my favorite songs now, so check it out if you want :)
CL-- The Baddest Female
Isn't this cute? Little statues outside a building in Hapjeong
Then I was happy about YG so I decided to take a lot of selfies.... ewww :P ;P cos i'm just so darn cute
Went to ummm I forget what it's called, it like a little shopping mall area next to Hapjeong station (reminds me of Oakbrook mall)
cool tree sculpture

Engrish at the Food Court
What does it mean?!?!?!
Java Chocochip drink from Angel-in-us Coffee
Berry Bingsu!!
Bingsu is a a shaved ice dish served usually during summer months. Usually it is Patbingsu, which is red bean bingu, but there's also different flavors. Usually there is the topping, then ice cream, all on top of the shaved ice. You then mix it all together and enjoy a yummy refreshing dessert!
Cute cat sculpture and cute baby!!
Random Dance celebration in the Hongdae Park
I felt like I was in the 80s or something. The music was older and so were their moves ;P But it was all good fun :)
tiny dish of frozen yogurt from Snow Spoon again
Bought Cheap Berry Makkoli (a type of rice and wheat alcohol) I got at HomePlus :)
Mango Bubble Tea and Cheese fried rice for dinner over the weekend SO GOOD WOW

oooh this is the Honey Makkoli restaurant I went to with Jenni and Julie. It was such a homey restaurant, had like, you know, the handwritten graffiti on the booths, and was all made of wood, and was just kinda comfortable (even if it was a bit too warm in there)
trying to take a picture of the real honey in the honey makkoli
We even tried to take a video to show the honey dripping from the makkoli :P It was kinda cool, but you may not be able to tell sorry haha :)
Huge Kimchi Pancake
