Dumplings! |
So creamy and delicous! |
A bunch of people from Ewha and Yonsei went to Garten for Raenna's birthday last saturday :)
Aaaand bulgogi stew and rice from another restaurant! It's yummier than it may look haha :)
I'm also pretty excited for this weekend! I'm going to the Dream Concert on Saturday, where almost every kpop group is gonna perform, and they record it for TV and stuff and it sounds amazing! Then on Sunday we're going to see Teen Top in concert too :)
In other news, I'll be going on another field trip with my cultural class in a couple weeks. I think we're going to a temple....
And we finally started learning about bilingualism and language learning in one of my online classes! FINALLY I basically signed up for it because of the bilingual half of the semester haha :P So today, in the lecture she taught about bilingualism, and what it takes for someone to be bilingual, and basically if you have to speak two languages in order to function in your environment, then you're considered bilingual, regardless of your level of skill in the second language. So I guess you could say I'm bilingual in English and Korean, since I have to use Korean whenever I go outside of campus, and even on campus, in order to interact and get around the city. Even though my Korean is very very beginner level, and I couldn't carry on a proper conversation, since I have to use it to live here, I'm considered a bilingual. Strange, huh? But I won't be Korean/English bilingual when I get back home haha.
Anyway, that's the update for today :)
